Fantastic sunscreen!
This stuff is worth the price. We use it daily. It goes on clean, not greasy. Smells great and provides excellent sun protection. We’ve used it at the beach on occasion and it protects for several hours.I am exposed to sun for many hours at work and this provides great protection for my face.It IS expensive, however, one pump applied to my face is enough to protect my face for many hours at work. I usually apply one to each arm as well. I’ve yet to find something that goes on as well, smells great and leaves your skin feeling moisturized while adding great protection. In my opinion it is worth the price.

EltaMD UV Clear Face Sunscreen SPF 46 – Lightweight Daily Sunscreen for Sensitive & Acne-Prone Skin
originally bought this sunscreen after struggling with heavier formulas that either clogged my pores or felt greasy under makeup. I’ve been using EltaMD UV Clear consistently for several months now, and I’m currently on my second bottle.I apply it every morning after my moisturizer before heading to work. It blends in quickly, doesn’t leave a white cast on my light-medium skin tone, and layers well under foundation. I also appreciate that it doesn’t sting around my eyes, even during long days outside or workouts.Pros:• Lightweight and absorbs fast• No noticeable white cast• Works well under makeup• Gentle on sensitive, acne-prone skin• Doesn’t feel greasy throughout the dayCons:• Slightly on the expensive side for the sizeCompared to drugstore sunscreens I’ve tried, this feels more refined and comfortable for daily wear. It’s ideal for anyone with sensitive or breakout-prone skin who wants reliable sun protection without heaviness.

The best sunscreen I’ve ever tried!
Disclaimer: I have used many different sunscreens and brands without finding anything I really liked.First time using Elta MD UV clear sunscreen and I am in love with it. I have very sensitive skin with rosacea and avoid chemical sunscreens because they burn my skin. The moment I put on this sunscreen it was creamy and unscented. It really absorbed into my skin and left no greasy residue. A few minutes after applying I was able to touch my face with no residue or product coming off on my hand.I do find this product a tad expensive but I feel that it is worth the price and it will be my go to sunscreen.

Best facial sunscreen
I’ve been through a million options, but this is by far my fae facial sunblock. It’s definitely the only one that doesn’t break me out. I use it every day of my life. Not oily at all, absorbs immediately. I don’t know what I’d do without it.

Mixed bag, I only use if NOT going in public… read why
Short answer: it piles and flakes offOkay, this is an interesting one. I had a facial treatment done that has left me with very sensitive post inflammatory skin issues, including one that the dermatologist thinks might be a form of rosacea. Basically I can use cetaphil face wash and Vanicream daily facial moisturizer and nothing else, as I react to everything else. But, I need an SPF, we all really should be wearing one daily. ChatGPT recommended I try this one (thanks AI). I have been using it for about a week and so far it hasn’t caused any irritation, bumps or new flare ups. The problem is what other reviews have already mentioned, it piles and flakes right off the skin. I tried mixing it with my moisturizer and it still flaked off. Bummer.I was about to return it, but because it actually seems to calm my skin I have decided to keep it and use it as an “at home only” sun protection product. Yes, you even need SPF protection even if sitting inside your house. The light coming through windows is enough to benefit from SPF protection. So, when I wake up in the morning I put this on right away. In this way I am at least SPF protected while I make breakfast or do house chores, even if I do something outside like take out the trash or gardening. It’s also fine for just sitting around watching TV.But, if I am going out, then I shower it off and start my usual product routine without it. I can tolerate the EltaMD UV AOX Elements Tinted Mineral Face Sunscreen Lotion “a little bit”… I still get a few bumps though. However, if I am just around the house and not in public view, then I am very happy with this product and the lack of irritation and actual calming effect I get from it, along with knowing that for those hours I am UV protected. The product does have a scent! It is an almond extract scent. I am very sensitive to scents and don’t love it, but have found it tolerable and while it does linger for awhile, it eventually fades (or my brain just begins to ignore it). It hasn’t been a deal breaker.

Best sunscreen ever.
This quickly became my go to sunscreen. It applies beautifully without feeling greasy, leaves no white cast, and noticeably helps with redness while keeping oily, acne prone skin balanced. Well worth the investment.

A Daily Essential – Lightweight & Fast-Absorbing
I’ve made this my go-to sunscreen and use it every single day. What sets it apart is the texture – it’s smooth and applies beautifully without any sticky residue, which is a game-changer for daily wear under makeup or on its own.The absorption is impressively fast. I can apply it in the morning and not feel like I’m waiting around for it to dry down. It sinks in quickly and leaves my skin feeling clean and protected, not weighed down. For sensitive skin, this is exactly what I needed. This is a must-have in my routine. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a lightweight, non-sticky sunscreen that actually works.

THE BEST SUNSCREEN OUT THERE
The only sunscreen I’ll ever use! I have tried so many different popular sunscreens that were greasy, sticky, smelly, pilled under makeup, or gave me fungal acne. Although, this sunscreen exceeds my expectations every time. NO WHITE CAST, NO “SUNSCREEN” SMELL, DOESN’T PILL UNDER MAKEUP, NOT GREASY! It gives you a shine in the best way. I cannot recommend this sunscreen enough. I’ve been using this sunscreen everyday for the past 3 years and one bottle lasts me about 3 months so the price is worth it to me. If you haven’t tried it already just get it!! I also have eczema, sensitive, and dry skin that’s usually prone to breakouts from irritating or pore clogging ingredients in certain skincare. But I haven’t had any issues this sunscreen!

Tried and true miracle worker.
Facial sunscreens are unique to one’s own personal needs. There are endless options, but this one is a true keeper, and a miracle worker. Yes, it protects, but it does so much more than preventing damage… it helps my skin heal, nourishing it in ways other products do not- even overpriced name brands. I have recommended this to friends who work outdoors in hot desert climates, drive for a living, and they are amazed at how well it not only protects but maintains their skin. Whether you wear alone or under makeup, it goes on clear, not greasy, no funky whiteness, you will notice the difference immediately on your skin. It really helps if you have redness issues and/or sensitive skin. I buy it when it’s on sale. There are tinted options, and moisturizer only options on the company page available. I like that I can buy travel size for plane travel, and larger sizes for home use. Tried and true.

Great for acne prone skin
I have been searching for the perfect spf for acne prone and aging skin ever since glossier discontinued their spf 35…..and I finally found it! I have been wearing it for a couple of months and it has not caused breakouts and leaves my skin looking plump and glowing. It’s like skincare spf. I love it! It is white coming out of the container but goes on clear. I use some bronzer over top to warm it up. Please, never stop making this! Found my new holy grail 🙂 Also, doesn’t have a strong sunscreen smell.
