Clears Skin!
Been loving this product! My skin has been more even toned and less textured. I apply it with moisturizer so it glides easier on my skin, as the formula is a little thick. No sensitivity issues!

Clearer, More Even Skin with Visible Results😍💖
I’m delighted with the 10% Azelaic Acid Suspension from The Ordinary. From the very first applications, I noticed how it helps improve skin texture, even out tone, and reduce the appearance of blemishes and redness. The texture is lightweight and absorbs easily, leaving the skin soft and comfortable without any greasy feeling. It’s ideal for both morning and night use as part of your skincare routine and works well for all skin types, even sensitive skin. With consistent use, the skin looks clearer, more even, and healthier. Without a doubt, it’s a product that’s totally worth it. I 100% recommend it for anyone looking for an effective and affordable treatment to improve skin tone and texture ✨🌿

Finally! Something that calms my redness and evens out texture
I’ve struggled with persistent hormonal breakouts and the annoying red marks (post-inflammatory erythema) they leave behind for ages. My skin is combination, sensitive, and my main goals were to reduce redness, fade old blemish marks, and smooth out my skin texture.I’ve been using this Azelaic Acid suspension for about 6 weeks now, incorporating it into my nighttime routine.First Impressions & Texture:The texture is definitely unique. It’s a thick, silicone-based cream that feels almost like a makeup primer. It’s not greasy at all and dries down to a very smooth, matte finish. A little goes a long way. I didn’t experience any stinging or irritation, which is a huge plus for my sensitive skin. Results:This isn’t an overnight miracle, but with consistent use, the results are undeniable. The most significant change for me is the reduction in overall redness. My skin tone looks so much calmer and more even. The red marks from old breakouts have noticeably faded, and my skin’s texture feels smoother. It also seems to help gently manage new blemishes without being harsh or overly drying like benzoyl peroxide or some retinoids can be.The “Con” (Why 4 stars, not 5):The only downside for me is the silicone texture. Because it’s so matte, it can “pill” (ball up) if you try to layer other products on top of it, especially serums or makeup. I found it works best as the very last step in my PM routine, after my moisturizer has fully absorbed. I personally wouldn’t use it in the morning under foundation because of the pilling issue.Overall:For the price, this product is a fantastic value and has become a staple in my routine. If you struggle with redness, uneven skin tone, or post-blemish marks, I would 100% recommend giving this a try. Just be mindful of how you layer it with your other products!

I’m SO Glad I Tried This!
I wasn’t sure about this at first. But I am so happy I gave it a try!I have hormonal acne on my chin and cheeks and pores that clog what feels like instantly. Within days of starting this Azelaic Acid I noticed a difference in my skin congestion, texture and redness. This product is not gritty and it doesn’t have a noticeable smell. However it is kind of thick to apply. Once it’s applied onto the skin I truly don’t notice it. I also don’t experience any irritation and it absorbs quickly.I highly recommend giving this product a try!

Great results on friction marks — just be patient with your skin
I’ve been using this product from The Ordinary to treat a dark spot caused by friction from my bra under my breast, and I’m already seeing noticeable results. The area looks lighter and more even, which is exactly what I needed.Just a heads up: during the first few applications, you might feel some tingling, dryness, or a mild burning sensation. That’s normal, especially if your skin isn’t used to active ingredients. What really helped me was applying a good moisturizer after using it. It reduces the dryness and soothes the skin almost immediately. After a few uses, your skin gets used to it and that initial discomfort goes away.Overall, I’m very happy with the progress so far. Stay consistent, keep your skin hydrated, and you’ll see the difference.Definitely worth it.

Skin brightness way better
I had bad acne while pregnant and after weeks of using it I’ve came back to review. If it wasn’t for this product I would have stubborn acne that wouldn’t go away and has brighten my skin! It does dry me out a bit but with a great sunscreen and moisturizer works wonderfully. Great product and great price.

Seems to be helping with pigmentation issues
I’ve been using this for four months to help fade some pigmentation marks I got as a result of laser hair removal, and so far, I’m pleased. The darkened pigmentation patches have definately faded, but I can’t guarantee that it was 100% from this product, because this is the first time I’ve had to treat this issue. But what I do know is that it feels lovely going on the face, isn’t greasy, leaves me skin feel evened out and clean, and although it’s not intended as a makeup primer, it certainly seems to work well as one for me.

Actually Works for Rosacea (and bumps)
I’ve had rosacea for about 10 years, progressively getting worse, and I’ve tried everything imaginable. IPL photofacials, expensive creams, inexpensive creams – you name it. I was getting a different kind of Azelaic acid and didn’t really see much happening (although I wasn’t sure what would happen). Last week I woke up itching the crap out of my chin and had bumps all over my neck and face. Kinda looked like hives, but not really. Anyhoo – as I’m in perimenopause, right before my “time” comes, my face breaks out with large (and some small) bumps on it. I’ve never had acne (not even as a kid), and these bumps are not “popable”, but this time a few were. I don’t know if I had an allergic reaction to something or what, but these things would not go away. I’m assuming as I “started” a few days later, it was due to my time of the month.I’ve used other The Ordinary products and liked them, so I decided to get this. Well let me tell you, after two days of using it the bumps went away. Not only that, but I put it on my super red areas – cheeks and nose – and the redness has become a faint pink. So I ordered two more things from this company (a serum and resveratrol + ferulic acid). Just got those today, so not sure how well they do, but I imagine they’ll be great. As for the product, it’s lightweight, it absorbs quickly, and has the consistency of lotion. I will say my face burned a wee bit when I put it on, but that went away after a few min (I do have overly sensitive and dry facial skin). It actually has a great affect after I use it, unlike other azelaic acid products.I’m not sure about the ingredients, but I think they are clean. I hope they are because I avoid chemicals as much as possible, but because I hate my red face, I’ll deal with whatever is in this. This company has not failed me this far. Now I want to try everything they have.

Very effective for PIH and acne
Background – i am in my late 30s and over the last few years I would ocassionally get acne around my temples and forehead.Initially, I used AA twice a week only. Every week a few new zits, just without end. All the time!!I simplified my face routine, read up on AA and finally realized all the benefits. I started doing only face wash, hydrating toner then either moisturizer in the morning or AA followed by moistirizer at night.Acne lightened up over the next few days, no new acne for weeks. Finally got a couple new zits, but literally a 90% improvement. I use this religiously now, sometimes twice a day.I’m not complaining about the price since it is 12 bucks or so, but i did run out quite quickly with daily use. Ordering a new one as we speak. I am also considering getting a script for 15%.I have to say, this is the single most effective product ive used for my acne in the last 18 months or so.It might sting just a bit initially, probably best to use it every few days until your face gets used to it. Non greasy, matte finish.
