Great first impression, lightweight and perfect for daily use
I just received this product today and tried it right away, and so far I am really impressed.The texture is lightweight and easy to apply. It spreads smoothly on the skin and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy or heavy. My skin feels hydrated and comfortable right after application.I like that it combines moisturizer and SPF in one step, which makes it very convenient for a morning routine.Living in a sunny place like Florida, this kind of product is ideal. The SPF 30 provides a good level of daily protection, and the formula feels light enough even in warm weather.It also layers well and does not feel sticky. I did notice a slight white cast at first, but it fades once it is fully absorbed.Overall, this is a great first impression and it seems like a very practical everyday product.

Lightweight Daily Moisturizer with SPF That Actually Feels Good on Skin

It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling, which I really like for daytime use. It is not oily at all. It is heavy and creamy, so I use only a tiny amount. It moisturizes enough and dries very quickly in a minute or two. It does have a scent. It doesn’t smell good, but it doesn’t have a very bad smell because it dries very quickly with no smell at all once it dries in a minute or so. My dermatologist told me to use it because of the sunscreen, so that’s the reason I do. I’ve been using it for years. I only use it during the day under makeup. Whatever light smell it has goes away the second it dries. If it smelled really terrible once it dried and it was oily, I could not stand it, so I would not be able to use it. I can’t stand anything that smells or is oily. I will not use any make up either that has any odor at all. However, I don’t wear the one without sunscreen at night because that one does smell, ugh. I just use the one with the sunscreen during the day under my make up.

Great but leaves a white cast.
I bought this along with some other CeraVe products as part of skin care routine (I have acne prone sensitive skin) but I’ve only gotten arround to using it today so here’s my review. Starting off with the good. I appreciate that it doesn’t feel oily or heavy like other sunscreens I’ve used and that it didn’t cause my skin to break out. In fact, I could’ve forgotten I put it on if it weren’t for the typical sunscreen smell and cast it left. Plus I wore it under my makeup with no negative affects! I do have a tan skin tone and don’t get sunburnt so I can’t say I noticed much of a difference in how the sun affected me but I assume it did its job. As for the negatives (or rather the one negative), despite claims to the contrary it does in fact leave a white cast. Now how severe that white cast is depends on how well you rub it into your skin before it dries. Because I was in a bit of a hurry there were some areas that I didn’t get properly and the white cast there was a lot more noticeable, I tried to wipe it but it had already dried so it was pointless. Luckily I wear makeup so I just covered it up but still I wouldn’t recommend this if you don’t have/wear makeup or are in a hurry because if you don’t rub it in properly you’ll get a noticeable white cast. Of course if you do it right the cast is very faint and as your skin absorbs it, it gets even less noticeable meaning that its barely a problem for most people its just that I HATE looking pale so I’ll almost never wear this without makeup to cover it up. All that considered I give it a 4/5 it’s great as long as you don’t mind the usual sunscreen smell, rub it in enough that the white cast isn’t very noticeable, cover it up with makeup, or unlike me don’t mind looking a little pale.

Review
I’ve become a Cereve fan over the past year! I bought this to try and add sunscreen in with moisturizing and I love it. It doesn’t have a white cast and is easily absorbed. Works well with moisturizing my skin even with my skin type. I don’t have any skin irritation and it’s lightweight just how they promote it! Only complaint is the bottle size for the amount, but once you start using it you realize that you don’t need to pump out that much and it’s long lasting!

CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion
I never thought a face lotion could replace two morning steps until I met this gem! This stuff actually hydrates and protects with SPF 30 without feeling greasy or heavy, and my skin feels soft all day long thanks to ceramides and hyaluronic acid working behind the scenes. Sure, it can pill a bit if you layer a ton of products over it, but on bare skin it absorbs nicely and is surprisingly makeup-friendly. If you want a low-fuss everyday lotion that doubles as sunscreen, this is a solid go-to.

Leaves white residue afterwards
I really wanted to love this because the regular CeraVe moisturizer without SPF works amazing for my skin. Unfortunately, this one didn’t live up to my expectations.It leaves a noticeable white residue that just doesn’t blend well, and when I wear it under makeup, it makes my skin look like it’s peeling or flaking.I ended up really disappointed and won’t be purchasing it again

Goooddd product
I have repeated subscription on cerave product bc I just love it sooo much. And for this I just love how it also have sunscreen. As a very lazy person, I usually just like to wash my face and put this product on. And I think it made me more consistent with putting sunscreen bc I usually just too lazy.

I don’t normally review my purchases but this one is necessary. The Cerave Facial moisturizer with the spf30 is fantastic. It goes on the skin so smoothly and it has a nice fragrance.
